Hi I want to know if the cruise control and the brakes are connected.
See I took my van in for an oil change and they did'nt remove the old seal when they replaced the filter so there were two seals and it burst while driving and my motor was shot, so they replaced the motor but the cruise control dose'nt work and now you need to pump my brakes to stop, so forth the question.

The only way they are tied together is a switch that shuts the CC when the brakes are applied. As far as the brakes, if you have to pump them, make sure the rear brakes are properly adjusted and the brake fluid is full. And for the CC, chances are something wasn't reattached. Have you tried taking it back to the shop that did the work?
