hi bob and ken,
i am having a problem starting my vehicle yesterday and this morning it started. But after a few minutes, it died again. What must be the problem? Is it the fuel pump or the filter? The weather here in canada is very cold right now and this is the first time that this happen to my vehicle. Thanks once again.

Before we blame the fuel pump, you need to test the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. It should be about 45 psi. If no, replace pump.

If yes, test your engine coolant temp (ECT) sensor resistance. Cold engine should produce between 7,000 to 13,000 ohms. Warm engine should be between 700 to 1,000 ohms. If no, replace ECT sensor.

If yes, throttle position sensor and crankshaft position sensors.

Let's start with that. Let us know what happens.
