We have a 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport and it will run fine for about a week or so and then one time we will try to start it to leave and it will stay running for a second or two and then shut off. It will do that one or two more times before it won't event turn over and then the Alarm Set light will flash. But we can go back to it anywhere from 4 to 24 hours later and it will start and drive fine. We've taken it to a mechanic who had it for over a week and they can't find what's going on. They reset the alarm passcodes and we picked it up and had it for a week before it did it to me again. I had it towed to the mechanic on a Friday when it wasn't running and They called me on a Monday and said that it started for them. HELP! We just got this car from my father-in-law and he said that the vehicle did the same thing to him.
