1999 Dodge Caravan Nothing Works in Dash

I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan, the problem I am having is as follows:

Nothing works in my dash, my Fuel hand dont work, Speed hand dont work, No kilometers showing up, nothing lights up, ocassionally something may kick in for like 2 seconds and go out again (dont happen very often)

I was told It could be the ECM.

If you would think it is, does the ecm have to come out of a 1999 Dodge Caravan the sme as mine? Or is it like most other parts and one from different year will work?

When I search some sites for the ECM, they ask me if its either Computer Box engine, or Computer Box Not Engine
which do I select?
