1998 Dodge Caravan A loose connection noise maby?

Here is my question, every time I go over a bump; dosen't matter how small or large, I hear a noise similar to a possible bad strut, but the struts on it currently are after market and are in good shape. The noise is worse in cold weather; 40 & under. When I got my wheels aligned, me and my friend took the time to inspect the problem area. But everything checked out. I have no idea what could cause this noise.
