I then switched injector 1 cable and put it on 2 to see if it works - the injector in one works with cable two - while injector 2 does not work with cable one. - That leads one to think cable 1 is the culprit - however I looked at the cables again - they were not reversed soldered - I then checked with a multimeter and the circuits seem fine?
I'm now totally puzzled - can the chewing have resulted in the ECU shorting out? It seems that they would have some sort of fail safe?
I trust this is a suitable mystery for an eletrical expert! I've spent days seraching the web, but don't see anyone experienceing a similar problem?
