Have 1996 dodge caravan 3.8L with no spark. Ignition have to wiggle key to turn tumbler, but it will turn over just no spark. Have replaced crank shaft position sensor, cam position sensor, PCM computer, cleaned all the ground terminals, checked all fuses but nothing. While cranking I have 12 volts going to plug to coil pack. But not the flashing rounds that I was told I should have. Just got PCM from Autocomputerexchange but nothing. Can it have something to do with the actuall ignition switch? Like some security feature? I am at a loss.

Guess its in the harness somewhere. Everything seems to be checking out. In hawaii with alot of corrosion due to salt air. Got diffirent readings on new pcm to coil pack. Had constant 12 or so volts in one of the four pins and constant ground in another with the other two dead. Now have 12 in pin while cranking only and constant ground in two. Got pcm from autocomputer exchange and have read mozt timess its not even pcm. Guess I will start tracing wires. Nothing in ignition swith besides ignition and start? No kind of security features? Ignition worn out, but can wiggle key to turn over. Just came out one morning and nothing

This is the wiring Diagram for the 3.8 L
hope it helps

Thanks for the wiring diagram! I do have the security light on when I first tun key, but it goes out with in 3-4 seconds. When I first tried starting it before I replaced everything, I would hit the unlock on the alarm button and turn the key imeditaly, for a split second seemed like it got spark. Thats the only reason I was asking about some sort of security feature. Thanks for all your help. Wish there was a simple solution. Dont know of anything else that could replace but checking out your wiring diagram. Thank you again.

SINCE THE LIGHT GO OUT THEN ITS WORKING AS IT SHOULD AND ITS NOT THE PROBLEM
CHECK WIRING HARNESS
USE AN ohm METER
VISUALLY CHECK CONNECTORS
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD COIL TOO
