I was wondering what to do with my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. It was running great and then I had to get it repaired a few months ago for a faulty wire that kept blowing the fuse that starts the car. After I fixed that the mechanic said that there were no other problems, but we noticed a few offhand. One was that when we turned the car off it was like the battery was dead, the interior light would not come on when we opened the doors and the auto lock device to lock and unlock the car does not work. The radio goes off and on as it wills and seems there is a bad connection somewhere.
When we went to start it yesterday, it would not start and we noticed that the spark plugs were illuminating blue sparks all along the top of the spark plug wires. We had just replaced the coil and plugs. What do you think could be the issue and what can we do at home to get the car working again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Replace the wires. They are bad if you see them arcing.

Let me know if that takes care of the running problem. As far as the other electrical issues, make sure the wiring harness going to the power distribution box is tight.
