I have a '96 dodge caravan NOT grand. It's a 3.3 liter engine Automatic.
As I was on a normal drive, the van Quit on me with no' warning. I checked many things along the road to find out that there is No spark going to the spark plugs. Not' a gradual problem. It happened instantly. It does Not make a wizzing sound like it's the timing belt. I was told one of two problems might have occured? 1. The electronic block (distributor) that the spark plug wires plug into is shot, and I need a new one of those. OR, 2. It's a "CAM Sensor" that went bad. To make it an "instant" problem. Has anyone had a simular experience and final If in agreement. Can you tell me Where' this "cam sensor" might be located? Help Please. Gary
