Did you try putting the part number on eBay or Amazon and see if anyone has one for sale?

Did you mean the PCM itself/not the scanner? If so it is then I may give it a try but meanwhile a friend in Virginia did send me a few pages with various offers that he said all suit my car as long as my VIN is there to allow programming prior to shipping. Here are they.

That is a great site for parts. I used it all the time.

I meant the part number for the cable you need.

I am sorry, I felt a discontinuity with no access to the original thread so the PCM rushed first of all. I will abide by this advice because the OTC GENESYS owner is so slow with my inquiries. I emailed my American friend to buy the set while I Google the wires according to the part numbers our friend Steve had provided.

Hi dear Steve, and the rest of good old men here. An update regarding the OTC Genesys scanner issue. A technician who is the top specialist in Iraq with PCMs went through the attachments of the scanner and its multiple accessories, he said that he has one just like it but that the attachments look to him like all complete missing no 2 wires. It was a phone call from Baghdad to Istanbul and not face-to-face argument so that I may be asking him to point at the 2 wires specified by you dear Steve. This is not the top important question here, what worried me is him insisting to check from the seller whether a software for the Pontiac 1995 is included, does this scanner use cartridges? Since the seller had already told us once that he has no idea whether his scanner can deal with Pontiac cars or not, how can I make sure before buying it? The Iraqi technician said that the seller can check observing the list that appears, does it include (Pontiac Grand Am) make? And then once again: Does it cover 1995 models? If this scanner uses cartridges( which I have no idea how do they look) then how can he include that software within his instrument? This slow reaction and discontinuity from the seller is dragging this issue behind since too long by now, the seller has no idea, apparently.

No cartridges, it uses software that is loaded into it and unlocked. If the tool covers any GM or other US built vehicles after 1996 it will have the correct software to work with the 95 as all of the later software covers the earlier vehicles as long as you have the correct cables. OTC doesn't remove coverage in those tools, they simply add to the existing system. So if you were to buy the newest version of the tool, which I believe is 2015 as they introduced a replacement then, the software for US vehicles would cover from the late 80's up to 2015. The attached image are some of the smart cards used to unlock the software. The date on the card will tell you the latest vehicles covered as would the tool itself if it were powered up. So if the cards with that tool are say 1997 then it will work as long as the correct cable is used.

Great info my dear. I recall you telling me that this scanner refrains from the cartridge thing but this guy raised concerns that made me ask, I believe he was referring to the smart cards themselves so he nodded yes when I mentioned the term/cartridge/, and it helped me know more here about the smart cards because I haven't the slightest idea about these scanners and peripherals/accessories cartridges and smart cards not to forget the model which I will inquire from him about. Thanks to you dear. EBay sent me an update urging me to implement a purchase order apparently, it came in time with your dispatch here.

The Snap-On units of that vintage and some other OTC units used cartridges for the various functions, the Genisys however isn't that design. It uses onboard software that you load in and activate and it stays in the tool until you remove it or update it with the later versions.
Mine has up to 2008 in it, then the newer tools I have cover 1996 up to current day. Some of the modern tools say they cover the older vehicles but I've only found a couple that really do. Your car though fit's in the no mans land between the two standards. Not sure what GM was thinking at the time but they didn't do anyone a favor with that system.

Such a joy to read your name here dear friend. I had another thread regarding my car bit one focused on ADL connector and the unique OBD it has. Due to staying in Istanbul for 2 months in the least I made a notification that I won't be able to resume all those attempts and checking based on your generous contributions send help since my car is left not working in my garage in Iraq. It still irritates me to have such a discontinuity because we progressed ahead of basics. I am typing while in the airport shuttle bus back to Istanbul after a busy and brief trip to Iraq. There, I grabbed the opportunity of observing the service sign to see its time duration pattern and be able to respond to that mechanic. He said that as long as this lamp is there with the ignition switch on then the PCM is surely malfunctioning.

I would be extremely delighted to have you in every thread but I miss the knowledge if how to tag you here on this site when a new question of mine is not forwarded yet to you. On Facebook, it is done once you type the name of a friend, how to do that here? I wish Danny L is reading this issue here to help me understand how to tag a specific member.
