Just my driver side windshield defroster vent will not blow out any air to defrost that side of the window. I have checked all other vents, and they all work, and are blowing out the correct hot air needing to defrost ice, snow etc and to keep my windows clear. I do not understand. Any opinions why this is just the one vent?

The HVAC vents are plastic and pushed together. It sounds like one disconnected. Get a flashlight and look up under the dash and follow it to the problem area. Make sure nothing is disconnected. If everything is connected, remove the duct and check if something is blocking the defroster.
