The van started misfiring so the code said number four injector. We changed all the injectors and then code said EGR so changed it and then changed all plugs, wires and crank sensor, cam sensor, and about four more sensors. Now number three and six are not firing. Two new coil packs. So we put the test light to the wires from the coil someone else said to test the light stayed on. So is it the PCM?

The first mistake is the diagnostic fault code did not say to replace the fuel injector. Fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis.

The place to start is by having the fault codes read and recorded. We need to know the exact code numbers because there's a lot of them that seem to be the same, but mean very different things.
