What is a fair repair estimate for a left front CV Boot, inner tie rod end & boot repair is for 1996 Honda Civic currently? I am looking for a good estimate for both labor and parts in that estimate and quality used/ replacement parts are fine. THank you

As far as the CV boot, it is cheaper to replace the axle with a new one from a parts store, The new one will have 2 new joints and both new boots. If you replace the boot on the old one, you have to replace the boot and pay the labor to do it, It isn't cost effective to do it that way.

The new axle is around 150.00 and figure 1 hour labor. As far as the tie rod, the part will be aprox 25.00 and figure at least 1 hour labor. Also, it should be aligned if you replace the tie rod.
