Engine was turning over but then I had a friend try to put a belt around the crankshaft and was prying down on it and I think he bent it. And now it will not spin to turn over. Is there a way to fix that?

Hello,

If the crank pulley is bent, unfortunately there is not any good way to get it straiten out.
You can try taking off the pulley and put it in a press to fix the lateral bent.
But if it is bent radially you might not be able to get it fixed.
Then again keep in mind that even with a little amount of unevenness on the pulley it can create vibration in the engine and can damage internals depending on the severity.

Let me know of any questions or concerns.
