Crankshaft/camshaft replacement

In replacing them both is there a certain way the replacement is to be done besides unplugging the negative terminal of battery? Also does the timing have to be reset as well? And how many CPS or there?

I'm assuming you mean you are replacing the crank and cam position sensors and not the camshafts themselves correct? If that is the case, may I ask why you are replacing both, it is very rare for both to fail. What is the code or reason why? If it is a cam crank correlation code it more than likely isn't the sensors but the timing chain itself. They are a known problem on those engines and the wear shows as the codes relating to the correlation between the cam and crankshaft. This actually shows that the sensors are fine because of the code.

Because I was asking a question and the person left the answer out and went into detail about if the sensors went out and codes the answer was never given.

Okay. The camshaft sensor is simple, disconnect the negative cable, go to the sensor and disconnect the electrical connector. Then remove the bolt. Now gently rotate and pull on the sensor to remove it, they have an o-ring seal that tends to stick in the bore and can take some effort to remove.
For the crank sensor the process is similar except you need to remove the A/C compressor to get to it because of the crank sensors location under the pulley. To remove the compressor you need to remove the serpentine belt, then unbolt the compressor, you only need to move it out of the way to get the sensor out. Then the sensor removes the same way as the cam sensor. They also stick in the bore. The torque numbers for the bolts are in the images attached.

There is no retiming or other changes needed. I haven't find your other posts so I'm not sure if changing the sensors will do anything but the above should address the exchange process.

For replacement how many ckps or there and do the timing have to be done. And what other steps are there to follow once negative cable has been disconnected?

You have one camshaft sensor and one crankshaft sensor. You do not have to set the timing for this as the new sensor just bolts onto the engine.
