Much better thank you.

You need to check the compression to see if the timing belt has failed.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-engine-compression

You need to test for spark at the plugs.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

You also need to check for fuel pressure.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

I attached flow charts to help determine the source of the failure.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

There are many things that can cause this type of an issue. Do the simple things first. Check the air filter to make sure it or the induction tube are not plugged.

Check to make sure there are no engine vacuum leaks.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

Check to make sure fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specifications.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Here are the manufacturer's specs for pressure.
Fuel Pressure .................... 283-324 kPa (41-47 psi)

If the check engine light is on, check for trouble codes which can direct us to where the problem is coming from.

https://youtu.be/YV3TRZwer8k

Also, let me know if you are able to keep the engine running with your foot on the throttle or if it still continues to stall.

Let me know what you find.
Take care,
Joe

If this is a constant noise like a lawn mower, more then likely you have an exhaust leak before the muffler. The muffler is meant to do just what is sounds like, it muffles the noise from the engine.

Just to confirm this can you get a recording of the noise so that we can hear it and that should give us the needed info.

We will be limited in the service information we can give you about your specific vehicle because we don't offer this vehicle in the USA so we don't have a manual. However, we can give general information because an engine is an engine and in this case, a noise is a noise no matter where the vehicle is in the world.

Thanks. We will wait to hear back.

Oh. I am sorry. I didn't expect that so thanks for the videos. This is an engine knock.

I would suggest draining the oil and cut apart the oil filter and look for metal. However, I suspect you will find metal as this is bearing material and the noise you are hearing is metal on metal of the crankshaft bearings or rod bearings. Either way, I suspect you are going to need at least rebuild the engine or replace it depending on price of each.

Sorry for the bad news but that noise is not easily mistaken when you have heard it as many times as I have.

My Daewoo Nubira cranks but will not start. I am not sure what the problem is, initially I thought it was the fuel but I filled it up and it started once but now it's not starting again.

Before it refused to start, the indicator lights stopped working on the dashboard and the lights as well then the car refused to start the following morning.

Please help.

You should have replied to your earlier post so that whoever attended to you can response when notification is received.

Did you check the engine compression?
Do you have sparks at the spark plugs?
Have you checked the fuel pressure and does starting fluids work?

A while ago I ask of you to give me the timing sequence and firing order of a 1999 daewoo nubira but what I didn't now is that this vehicle carries a 2001 engine, would this make a difference? And by the way still engine won't run or start?

You should continue with your previous post so that whoever attended to you can response when notification is received. This would keep the history of what had transpired in one thread for easier reference.

Yes, both engine are the same. Have you check the engine compression and are there sparks and fuel pressure?
