Crank sensor relearn procedure not taking

Had to replace crank sensor. Tried relearn procedure will start, but will not finish.

If you do not have a professional scan tool you cannot do it. See pictures.

Paraprofessional mechanic try it it still would not do the process would start start it but it would not complete. wondered if you had any ideas why?

Hello,

It could be a bad connection or a defective sensor. Is it a factory sensor? If not the resistance can be off which will cause that problem.

Please let us know what happens.

If you do not have the professional scanner you cannot set cam/crank sensor sync an auto parts scanner will not do this what type of scanner are you using.
