Truck will turn over but will not crank. I have checked everything I know to check. Gets 52 lbs pound of fuel pressure and has a spark. Have not pulled injectors because I'm not that familiar with them. Checked plugs and will try and crank when starting fluid is injected into the intake.

If it tries to start with starting fluid, it is a fuel-related issue. Since we know the fuel pressure is present, then we need to expect the injectors aren't firing.

If you look at the pic below, it shows the wiring to the injectors. Note that each injector will have a red wire. I need you to confirm there is power present at these wires with the key in the run position.

Let me know. Also, power is provided via the PCM power relay (under hood fuse box) and fuse 1 in the same box. Let me know what you find at the red wires, so I know which direction to go. If there is no power, do check fuse 1. Additionally, if the fuse is good, confirm there is power to and from it.

Let me know what you find

Take care,

Found the culprit. Thee EEC IV was burned out at one spot. Just ordered one so hopefully this works.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. It sounds like you found the issue.

If possible, could you let me know if this takes care of the issue? It will likely help others. Also, if by any chance you could take a couple of pics of what you find, that would be great. However, I understand if you can't.

Take care and I look forward to hearing if this resolves the issue.

Joe
