The car overheated so I pulled over. Once I turned the car off, it would not start back up. Pulled it home and did the following: replaced PCV valve, complete oil change (oil was low on stick), replaced head gasket and cover, replaced camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, new spark plugs and coils. It did start once after replacing plugs and coils but saw white smoke and turned the car off. A local mechanic says the fuel system is working and the car has a full tank of gas. Spark plugs are getting spark. I have a new radiator to put in because mine is busted, but I want to make sure the car is going to start before I take on another big job. The head gasket was a 4-day project for me.

I’m out of ideas other than shorting the battery for the computer to reset, which a mechanic suggested, but I wasn’t sure about it since the battery already has to be jumped each time I attempt to crank because it won’t start.

Let's check the compression. This should tell us what's going on, or you can upload a short video of the engine cranking over that way I can tell for sure what the problem is.

and this guide can help as well:
