Crank no start

Good day,

Please help me with my car. It cranks but does not start. Warning light of the engine is not appear when starting leak before.

Your engine needs three things to start. Fuel, ignition at the right time and compression. That means we need to verify each of these. The easiest way to do that is to start with fuel. Get some starter fluid and spray it in the intake and see if it fires for a moment. If it does then we need to look at fuel. If not, we need to check for spark. To do this, we need to pull a spark plug and reconnect it to the ignition system and hold it against the block and see if it sparks. If it does then we need to check compression.

Good day,

Thanks for responding but I did check the spark and fuel compression and still it does not start. Just crank not starting.

Can you get a recording of what it sounds like when it is cranking and what are your compression readings?

Okay. I understand now.

You could be correct and if you are that means we need to check for codes and see if we have codes. I understand the light is not on but the light not flashing on when you cycle the key means it is not performing the required self test. This normally doesn't cause a no start but it could. This is why we need to start with checking for codes.
