Cranking good but will not start

Burnt a piston cylinder number one. Overhauled the engine, the engine swings and it swings to the point that it wants to start, but does not. Checked the crank sensor, it is okay. Check the injectors and that is fine. Checked the cam timing and it is right, and still the car does not want to start. Need expert advise.
