Cost estimate for replacing main seal and oil pan gasket

According to the book it says for a manual transmission that it should take 4.4 hours. The parts are in general less than $50.00 so it depends on what the door rate is for the shop you are going to use. If they charge $100.00 per hour then the total job should be around $500.00 because you also have to factor in shop charges and if they mark up the parts. Again, this is just a ball park but that is how you would go about figuring out if they are over charging or not.
