The coolant level proper, the water pump not leaking, the thermostat is good, but the coolant warning light comes on. Also gets foggy in cabin.

Hi,

When you say it gets foggy in the vehicle, it sounds like the heater core is leaking. Is there any smell associated with the fog? Does the coolant level ever get low? Also, check around on the passenger side floor to see if it is wet.

Here is a link that you may find helpful. This is to help locate a coolant leak. However, if the level isn't changing, it doesn't sound like you have one.

Let me know if you find any leaks, if the coolant level is changing, and if there is any smell related to the fog you see and if you have it set to defrost, if there is a film that develops on the windshield.

Take care,

Joe
