I have a Ford Figo 2012, 1.4 L duratorq TDCI. Recently found out a black gooey substance dripping down the front portion of the car. On opening the bonnet it was the coolant oozing out of the container. Took the car to a workshop and performed a compression test, the compression was low in two of the four alternating cylinders. What could be the possible explanation?

Sounds like a blown head gasket. There is a simple combustion gas test that can be done to confirm this. I would say you could look at the spark plug condition but as the shop removed them you will not know if they were put back into the same cylinders.

I believe this engine has an oil cooler at the oil filter or close to it, this part is leaking internally into the radiator coolant. I would install a new cooler and flush the radiator and refill with new coolant.
