Cold A/C only when accelerating?

So, my mom recently bought the car listed above for $4,000 and so far, it has been pretty good. The one thing I just realized is not performing to the best degree is the A/C. I just added a can of refrigerant and the meter reads the levels on green. However, when the car is sitting and running in idle, it will not blow cold air but whenever we drive at higher speeds and RPMs, the vents will blow cold then warm up when coming to a stop. Any guesses?

Are the radiator cooling fans running with the A/C on? If not, this will be the problem. If they are then the A/C compressor or expansion valve is going out, we would need set of gauges on the system to tell for sure, here is a video that can help you:

If the high side is low at idle chances are the compressor is going out. Here is how to change the compressor out in case you need it. Also, this guide can help walk you through the steps:
