With the key on, verify power to the positive side of the coil. If you have power, check the negative side. There should be power there as well. With a test light, crank the engine and probe the negative side of the coil. The test light should flash. If it does, and there is no spark, then the coil is bad. If the light does not flash, the coil is not being triggered to fire
