Hi,

The 61-11 is related to the vehicle stability assist. That isn't tied to the P0430. That code indicates the bank two catalytic converter is operating below the threshold.

Does, that mean it needs to be replaced? Oftentimes, it does. However, before replacing the converter, try this.

Fill the tank with premium fuel and get a good quality fuel injector cleaner. Drive the vehicle for approximately 50 to 100 miles then clear the code. See if the code comes back.

Let me know if that helps.

Take care,

joe

Hey Joe, thanks for your feedback. Could you please suggest to me the best way to use the fuel injector cleaner?

Close to empty the tank > Injector> premium fuel full tank?

Thanks,
Chinmay

Hi,

There are a lot of different manufacturers that make it. I attached a pic below of an example that has helped others in the past.

This will be added to the fuel system. The directions are on the product.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

You can clear the code with a scan tool. If you don't have access to one, disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes. It should clear.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I had hoped that would help. At this point, the converter is likely faulty, and needs to be replaced. If you want, take a look at this link. It explains how to test a converter. You will need an infrared thermometer to check converter temperatures. Take a look.

Let me know what you find or what I can do to help.
