My gauges work sometimes and sometimes they don't. Truck runs great but my gauges fuel, oil, speedometer, temperature, tachometer, and warning lights, excluding brake warning light, will come on for a few days then stop working again for a week or so. Also, blinkers don't work unless I have the brakes on and manually flip the lever. I have checked grounds, fuses, replaced cluster. I have found so many forums with similar issues, but no fixes have I really seen.

There is a ground wire located at the front of the left front fender that needs to be checked, blk/lt grn make sure it is clean and tight, here is the cluster wiring diagrams so you can see how the cluster system works. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

So, I got no power to the cluster, traced back to #17 fuse at box inside can. So I ran a wire to the fuse block from battery and still nothing does this mean I have no ground to the cluster?I am not real good with electrical but it seems to me that if I run a direct power to cluster everything would start working again. Or go and buy individual gauges and hook them up directly they would work. Right?

Yep, power and ground it should work. There are two power sources, did you check both?
