Clunking on suspension while over rough roads

I was able to isolate the clunking noise to a broken flange on a support bushing area, see ppt file attached. It seems like the broken part is actually a portion of the main frame/structure. I am wondering if you think that someone could weld the flange back on and if so what sort of welding would be best for this sort of item? I am afraid that a normal repair shop will want to replace the entire structural thing which will cost a boat load of cash. Do you think that maybe an alignment shop would deal with this sort of thing?

The alignment shop sounds like the better place who might make the best judgement call and/ or repair.

However, I suggest the shop that might specialize in alignments (cars to big trucks). One that is privately owned, long term employees (even family). I am trying to steer you towards mega experience, not employees that come and go frequently.

If a large part is needed, you might obtain it yourself from an auto salvage yard, and take it to them if it is needed.

Many times, a shop like this will give your vehicle a quick parking lot assessment at no charge, so you might gather parts and sorta know a ballpark figure of the cost, before you commit to the repair.

The big thing here is to insure everything is safe. The cheapest place may not provide this feature.
