I'm hearing a clunking sound every time I back up and turn the wheel. Either direction I hear this noise, and it only happens when I reverse. I also hear a clunk noise when I brake and come to a stop. There's also a clanking noise when I drive over bumps, it could be the slightest bump and I hear this noise. I've had control arms replaced on driver and passenger side on front end. Had a mechanic tell me that he saw a bad ball joint. Maybe the ball joint is the issue?

That could be. Can you upload a short video of the noise so I can hear it? I have seen the driveshaft central support go bad and it allows the driveshaft to move and cause all kinds of strange noises. Here is what I am talking about so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

So, can the noise happen when the car is sitting still? If so, it can't be the driveline, it seems like you have a front strut going bad, I would put the car on an alignment rack and then turn the wheel back and forth while someone is looking for the point of the noise generation. Thanks for the video, it helps.

Gotcha, we need a better idea of where the noise is generated from. I would get the car up on a lift for an inspection of the front end and drive line.
