If you can turn the blower off and have the blower run at position one but not at any other position the switch may be at fault. On position one it runs power through the entire resistor pack, in other positions it bypasses one section at a time which raises the voltage to the blower motor, until you get to position five which turns on the blower relay and sends full battery voltage to the blower.
The first thing I would do is verify that you have a good ground, that is the black wire that goes to the blower motor and inside the module as well. If it is bad the motor may not get enough power to run at other speeds.
The next step is to check the power out of the switch, that can be done at the blower resistor connector, A simple test light and select a position on the switch that does not work. I would choose five, then check for power at the orange wire in the connector. If no power the selector switch is bad.
