Hi,
If you are hearing a clicking sound when accelerating or turning, chances are it is related to a worn CV joint.
Do me a favor. In a large parking area where there nothing to hit, place the vehicle in drive, turn the steering all the way in one direction and accelerate. Do you hear a clicking sound? Try it in both directions.
If you do, replace the CV axle assembly. Here is a link that explains how it's done in general:

Now, on this vehicle, there are a few things to consider. First, since it is AWD, there are CV joints on the rear axles as well. Try to pay attention if the noise if from the front or rear first. Second, on the passenger side front axle is both an intermediate shaft and outer shaft. There is a bearing support between the two which also could be bad. So, the best thing to do is safely lift that side of the vehicle and grab the axles and see if there is any play in the bearing. I'm questioning if that is what the banging is you mentioned.
If you look at the pics below, I highlighted the intermediate shaft and where it attaches. Inspect that.
Also, if the sound seems to be coming from the center of the underside of the vehicle, there is a support bearing for the driveshaft. See pic 2 for location. When checking it, there needs to be no resistance. So, the vehicle needs to be in neutral. Make sure there is no up and down play in that bearing. Just make sure the parking brake is fully engaged and the tires are blocked to prevent the vehicle from moving.
Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
