Cleaning under the hood

I was wondering what to cover under my hood, if I was to pressure wash the truck motor to clean it up. Thank you very much!

Ideally, you do not want to direct high pressure around any electrical connections as these are the weak link in the system so to speak. Give the engine a wash down with degreaser or engine wash, let it soften the grime and was down with a hose, a high pressure was can force water under the seals of the electrical plugs, this is what you want to avoid.
