I have the car listed above HX coupe leftside turnsignal and hazards aren't working and my high beams aren't working either. I've replaced the inside fusebox and the engine bay fusebox as well. Fuses are good, bulbs are good too. I don't know what is causing this problem. I read on some forums and it's saying my hazard button could be bad. I did take the hazard button out because when I had it hooked up it was causing the cars temperature gauge to go up to hot, and when I turned on the left side turnsignal it would cause the temperature gauge to go up too. One day I turned the hazard button on and both arrows didn't come on at all. I'm going to try to replace the hazard button and see if my issue goes away, but if anyone can tell me what is going on I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi,

If I'm reading the schematics correctly, power to the signal lights comes from the turn signal/hazard relay located in the fuse box under the dash. As far as the hazards are concerned, they receive power via different wires than the signals. From that relay, power goes to the signal switch and then is distributed to the selected lights and then to ground.

So, I have to ask. Did you replace that relay? I'm struggling to tie in the low beam at this point, but I'm working on it. Let me know if the vehicle has daytime running lights.

Let me know.

Joe

See pic below. Note: In the schematic, it indicates the wires are from the fuse/relay box under the dash. However, when I follow them, there are no fuses or power supplies in the box. Instead, the power is routed to the different lights.

And yes, the car does have daytime running lights. Also, my brake light is on the dashboard as well. I tried to top the brake fluid and I don't know what that's about. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that too earlier.

Hi,

The only thing I can think of that may be causing the signal issue is the idea that the hazard switch was removed. As far as the brake light is concerned, it could be the parking brake switch or the fluid level switch. Have you checked either of those?
