Temperature gauge goes up and down. The heater inside blows cold air and then after a while it will get hot. I noticed a small amount of water coming out from under the radiator some times when it is parked. Is this a therostat problem?

Is the coolant full? IF so, I would guess it has something to do with the thermostat. However, low coolant can do the same thing and you mentioned that the rad seems to be lekaing.

Let me know if it is full.
