It started for 2 more times and then it just did not start?

After a day of driving with very low fuel I finally tanked it up and then I noticed that after the fill up it took a while to restart and it did it for 2 more times and then it just did not run. Checked the battery and it was fine. Was suggested that the fuel filter was clogged up and so purchased a new one. Is this the Fix?

Yep the fuel filter is hidden in these cars so they can clog up and nobody can find it because it is at the top of the fuel tank, here is a guide to help change it and the location in the diagrams below.
