1996 Chrysler Town and Country power door locks

Our power door locks will only work with the ignition on, consequently, the keyless entry will not work.

Hi:

This isn't a common problem or one I can answer without being there with you. I suggest that you conact an auto electric shop for them to diagnose the problem.

I do have one question. Does the van have the auto locking doors when you first go around 15 MPH? If so, that would work only when the key is on. This may sound too simple, but did you check the fuse for the door locks? If I remember correctly, there may be two seperate power supplies.

I checked all fuses it should have constant power just like the elc. Seats and the lighter and headlights call me at 321 674 7574 im desperate any help would be appreciated also the lights on the air flow control buttons keep flashing I been told its my freon is low please call me any time im carl booth sr.

I did what you said and more fuses under the hood there I found a 10a fuses for theiod memory and fixed it thank you and god bless you and yours
