Alarm system will not disarm

Why is the alarm arming itself, even though I did not lock the doors. How do I disarm it. It wont let me start the car. Even when I use the key to unlock it?

Hello,

It sounds like you have a drivers door latch that is no good which will cause the alarm to arm itself and then get locked up. There is a micro switch inside the latch that goes bad.

Here is a diagram to show you what you are in for when fixing the problem.
