I had someone read the code with an analyser and it said to replace the EGR valve. It looks easy to replace but I think I need to remove some equipment befor I can remove tha install the new unit. What is the proper sequence for this repair? Thank you

The valve is mounted on the back of the passenger side cylinder head. You will need to remove the air intake hose to be able to access it.Use a mirror to locate the mounting bolts that hold it to the head and the pipes to it.from there it should just be a unbolt one bolt in the other project
