What parts do I need to install new EGR valve?

A mechanic had taken out the egr valve and put a plate over it without my consent. I want to install a new one. I can find OE replacement that comes with valve, gasket, mounting bolts and hose connector. Is there anything else I need to order or should it come with everything I need? Do I need the hose too or does the valve come with this? Not sure if any of this would still be attached to the car, I think everything was taken off.

There is a transducer on top of the valve that fails more often than the valve itself but you can't buy it separately so it will come as an assembly. Due to the age of the car, you shouldn't have any trouble finding an assembly in a salvage yard. Look for one of the pick-your-own-parts yards so you can see exactly what is needed and what is missing on your car. You can grab hoses and wire harnesses and anything else you might need. If you're anywhere between Ohio and southern Georgia, look for a chain of yards called "Pull-A-Part". Parts there are REAL inexpensive and the yards are very clean and well-organized.
