2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Retrain the computer?

I have read that on the Pt Cruisers, we need to have the computer retrained, after we have the tranny fluid changed. Can anyone tell me how to do this. It may be my problem. Do you just unhook the battery and then drive it? Thanks

It shouldn't need retrained for a trans service. What is happening? As far as retraining, drive the vehicle over 40mph then allow it to coast for aprox 10 seconds.

Is the check engine light on?
