In the last week or so I have noticed that I have white smoke coming from the exhaust of my 1994 Chrysler Lebaron GTC. It does not happen all the time but esspecially when I hit the gas pedal hard and fast. It does not happen during steady driving but when at a stop and starting up initial drive. Any ideas as to what the problem may be. She runs really good but is burning oil and the oil gadge sometimes goes to the high side.
Thanks.

white smoke normally suggests a head gasket,

or if you have a 2.2 or 2.5. they often crack between the valve seats.
