Engine Performance problem
1993 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My friends 3.3L NYer acted like it was running out of gas(in a bad electrical storm)and died. We changed the cam and crank sensors(which checked bad compared to new ones), reset the computer, and started the engine(sort of). It ran like crap and backfires through the intake. In testing coil pack, I found the front 2 outputs w/thick bluish spark;the middle 2 w/thinner yellowish;and the 2 closest to the firewall w/no spark. He borrowed themoney for a new coil pack which we installed. Reset the comp again(just to be safe), and to our dismay found no change. I think it has jumped time, but all the mechanics my friend knows says it is almost impossible for that engine. Im just a semi-retired electronic tech/troubleshooter, so Im not in a position to argue. What can you tell me? I cant even find a schematic diagram to figure out where the input signal to the coilpack comes from. Thank you, KTW.

Check fuel pressure 1st
(most part stores will let you use the fuel gauge set for a small deposit )

fuel pressure should be ABOVE 45 PSI
