1996 Chrysler LHS wont turn over

The car stopped while driving and the check engine light came on. I pulled off and tried to start it again. It seems like it wants to start but wont turn over like its out of gas. It has half a tank so thats not it.
i dont know what it may be. Any suggestions?

Have the computer scanned for code/s -you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn On-This is your starting point of diagnosis finding out what's going on.
