Heater problem
1989 Chrysler Le Baron 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 175000 miles

I have replaced the thermostat and had a mechanic flush the heater core two days ago. The heater worked fine for one day, now it is blowing cold air like it did b4 the mechanic. I smell antifeeze when the heater is on, but there is not a leak inside the passenger compartment. What could be the problem?

Flushing can do only so much! If you now smell anti freeze, and have no heat the core is clogged and now may be leaking as well, you need to replace the core.
