The mechanic said that the spark plugs are arching and that the plugs and wires need to be replaced. I wasn't surprised at that considering they've never been replaced before. About how much should I expect to be charged to have it done?

Your looking for about 2.5 hr labor
plus parts
plugs is about 40 to $60
wires about $70
I would say your looking at $350 to $420
Plus it depend on your area and how much they charge per shop hr
