1997 Chysler Grand Voyager Noisy start up

Howdy and great site - My Grand Voyager has started to give a good old throaty growl upon starting, coming from the front off-side engine bay. This goes on for about 3 mins then disappears so I am kinda discounting the exhaust. Whilst my kids love the sound of a muscle car, I am worried that it is something I need to sort now.

Hi:

It sounds like your starter is sticking, and spinning with the flywheel. You may want to have that confirmed with a mechanic. If that is the case, just replace the starter.
