Whatever it is it has to cool down, its creating an open circuit when it is hot thus making it shut off, start with crank position sensor, spark and fuel, is there a check engine light on? If not then that really makes me lean towards the crank position sensor, they usually do not show up . If there is a check engine light, I would then suggest taking it to autozone or your local parts place for a free engine computer scan and bring the codes back to me, we can get right down to the problems this way, otherwise we will have to go one by one on possible motives
