4 days ago my car lost all power while I was driving, it took me a minute to notice that I was just coasting. I read in my book that if the gas cap was lose it could cause this problem, so I tightened the gas cap and it started right up. 2 days later it did the same thing while I was driving home from work. I again tightened the gas cap and the car started right up.
This morning, my car just wouldnt start. It turned over but just wouldnt catch, any suggestions?
The check engine light never once flashed, but does come on when the car is started.

The gas cap has nothing to do with the engine stalling. A loose cap WILL make the "Check Engine" light turn on. The camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor are common causes of engine stalling, and they're often heat-sensitive.

I had the same problem and I replaced both those and those were not the problem. Check the computer.
