1996 Chrysler Cirrus The power lock for door does not work

The power lock button does not work for some reason, when i press the button the car lock and unlock switch just goes up and down, seems like the little motor that controls the locks just runs and just stops all of a sudden, so if u can please help!!

The lock motors have cheap plastic armatures that spin on the shaft so they don't turn the gear assembly. Most are built into the latch assemblies. All you can do is replace them and be glad you don't have a GM product.
